IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THIS LOCATION: Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's licence at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
Any use of the vehicle in a dangerous manner or illegal purpose or when it is damaged or unsafe is prohibited.
In accordance with the amendment of the Public Roads Act, approved by the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia end of April 2008, use of road tickets (vignettes) is obligatory for all vehicles with the permissible maximum weight of 3,500 kg (the current first and second toll-rate category) on motorways and expressways in the Republic of Slovenia as of 1 July 2008.
From 1 July 2008 onwards, purchase of a vignette shall be obligatory for use of a toll road. The cost of the vignette varies depending on the supplier.
Payments : The following credit cards are accepted: Master / Eurocard, VISA.
A valid credit card in the name of the main driver must be presented as guarantee for the rental. Our local car rental partner may reserve an amount of 600 - 2400 Euro (depending on your selected car group) as guarantee, which will be released after the end of the rental period if no damage/theft has occurred.
Please note that all local payments will be made in Euro.
Driver requirements : Minimum age of driver is 19 years, although a mandatory underage driver insurance may be required. In most destinations, if applicable, the underage driver surcharge for the main driver is included in the car rental price, unless it is shown in the available extras' webpage along with its equivalent age limits. Any underage driver surcharge for the additional drivers will be paid locally to our car rental partner.
Maximum age of driver is 75 years.
Driver's licence: driver must have held a valid driver's licence for at least 1 year.
International driver's licence is required for non EU citizens (except Swiss).
Items and Services included in the rates : - First additional driver (if indicated in the extras that it is free, during the booking procedure).

- Snow / Winter tyres when required by law.
- Unlimited mileage.
- VAT.
- All local taxes.
- Any One-Way fees, if applicable.

- 24 hour roadside assistance in case of accident/damage to the car.
- Delivery and drop off at airports & rental stations during normal working hours.
Insurances included in the rates : - Third party bodily injuries per accident, up to unlimited amount.
- Third party property damages per accident (excluding rented car), up to unlimited amount.
- Fire insurance with no excess.
- CDW (Collision Damage Waiver).
- FDW (Full Damage Waiver) with NO excess.
- Theft insurance (of ALL the car) with NO excess.
Exceptions / exclusions to the All Inclusive Insurance : Charges for any of the damages written below will be charged directly to the client, the most important of which are the following: Antenna, trays, clutch and gearbox, damage to car lock, door handle, door sill, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, glass, mirrors, wheels, tyres, interior of the car, spare key and car jack, hubcap, lights, gas cap, warning triangles, damage to upholstery of a car, damages to the roof, damages caused by roof rack and any luggage on it, extreme dirtiness in a car, underside damage, personal belongings in a rented car, damage due to negligence, tyre punctures and burst tyres, water submersion or salt-water damage, hail damage, fuel errors, damage to child seats and baby seats, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned on electrical devices, damage or loss of car documents, damage or loss of registration plate, damage or theft of car logo. The car rental company, in any case, is not obligated to replace a flat tyre or damages in music devices (radio, CD/mp3 player, etc.).
Towing costs are not covered by any insurance.
EconomyCarRentals will not refund any telephone, taxi or hotel costs.
EconomyCarRentals or the car rental company will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving, driving without care and attention or damages caused by negligence. Economy Car Rentals do not provide coverage for damages made on unsealed roads. Driving the rental car on glacier is forbidden. Vehicle must not be operated in any race, speed test, rally or contest.
The client will accept direct responsibility in respect of such claims.
Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client. The local car rental company may offer extra insurances to cover some of the above exclusions. Local laws govern the terms and conditions of hiring vehicles and the rental contract signed on collection of the car is legally binding to the hirer.
Fuel policy : Our car rental partners have different policies regarding fuel:
The car is delivered with a full tank of petrol and you will give it back full.
The car is delivered with some petrol and you will give it back the same way.
The car is delivered with a full tank of petrol and you will give it back as empty as possible. The cost will be paid locally.
The car is delivered with a half tank of petrol and you will give it back as empty as possible. The cost will be paid locally.
Please NOTE that there will be no refund for unused fuel.
Out Of Hours Delivery : Any charge which may occur for delivery/pick up of the car out of the working hours of our local partner will be shown during the booking procedure.
Out Of Hours Drop off : Any charge which may occur for collection/drop off of the car out of the working hours of our local partner will be shown during the booking procedure.
National one-way rentals : When you have selected delivery location and option, you will see the available drop off locations. Any one-way fee involved will be shown at the last step of the booking procedure.
International one-way rentals : are not allowed.
Ferrying the car : Domestic is normally allowed. Any extra cost will be paid locally.
You have to inform the car rental company that you will take the rented car on a ferry.
Across the border rentals : are allowed to the following countries : Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, F.Y.R.O.M., Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. Driving to Bosnia and Serbia is only allowed with Economy and Compact car groups.
Cross border card must be ordered at the time of booking.
In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all insurances lose their validity.
